Here is all the reason and inspiration you need to wake up early to do a sunrise NYC engagement session in Central Park. Your engagement photos will be ones that you cherish forever. Take time to plan this session with your photographer so it feels true to you. The soft light that mornings offer is by far my favorite. There is nothing better than creamy pastel color tones paired with a fresh new day. Yes you have to wake up early and its totally doable! Plan ahead, go to bed early, and have your favorite coffee or tea on standby. After your session plan a date at your favorite coffee shop and then go home for some sweet snuggles! Enjoy looking through this engagement in New York!
Central Park is beautiful anytime, and you should check it out at least once during sunrise. The park is so quiet at this hour and feels super peaceful and serene, especially if you want to have a photo shoot.
I will always marvel at the architectural beauty mixed with nature in central park. Every time I visit, it leaves me in awe. Central Park is a work of art in and of itself. The Central Park project paved the way for what is now known as landscape architecture.

Molly, Kevin, and I had so much fun during our session. We started at Bethesda Fountain before it got too busy. We even saw the cutest pups running around, and some of the dogs were Molly’s favorite Vizslas. Side note one of our favorite Christmas movies was also filmed here. Home Alone fans anyone?
Shooting from this angle made for the dreamiest black and white photos! Guys I’m seriously obsessed!
We also walked over to Bow Bridge. These are some of my favorite photos with the play of light and dark with the shadows and sun! When you do a sunrise NYC engagement session you get to play with all the light as it rises!
We, of course, had to make our way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Kevin proposed to Molly here. It’s a special place for them. Also, one of the scenes from Molly’s favorite movies was filmed here. When Harry met Sally, anyone?
We genuinely love working with our couples, and an engagement session gives us extra time together! It is an excellent way for us to connect and learn what you love. It also gets you in front of the camera and allows you to feel how carefree and fun it is to work with us. You also get beautiful photos and video that you can cherish forever.
